Paul Ventimiglia
Former pianist/conductor for Shirley McClaine, Paul has also accompanied legends such as Frank Sinatra, Jose Feliciano, Thelma Houston and Frankie Valle and the 4 Seasons. On his current Jazz CD, Paul invited friends and fellow guest artists Luther Vandross, James Ingram and David Sanborn to join him.
Paul Ventimiglia (pronounced ven-tuh-meel-yuh) is a musician who we’ve all heard without realizing it. The gifted composer, arranger, conductor and keyboardist landed in LA in the early 80’s but now resided in S.E. Michigan. Paul has worked in a dizzying array of projects from soundtracks for film and Television (Disney, New World Pictures, HBO and NBC and CBS) to commercials (Jeep, IBM, ABC Promos, Mattel, Xerox and others). His music has even been featured on the In-Flight Jazz stations for Northwest Airlines, TWA and Delta Airlines.
Paul’s first jazz CD, “IL Bacio” was released on Miramar Records in the spring of 1997. Since then, his music has been featured on a holiday promotional CD for J&B Scotch as well as a promotional compilation CD for London’s Smooth Jazz station (V-97), released in 2002. Paul’s most recent CD is a collection of unique and imaginative traditional holiday music, “Jazzed up” of course…what you’ve come to expect from Paul’s music.
